The Vet Clinic is looking for someone for someone who could fulfill both the kennel technician role as well as a veterinary assistant role. The kennel technician shifts include Wednesday PM, Friday PM, and Saturday afternoon/PM.
The Ohio State University Waterman Dairy is looking for students with experience operating agricultural equipment to feed cattle, perform routine equipment maintenance, and assist with daily farm operation, corn silage production, & pasture management.
In 2021, 15 scholarships totaling $59,000 were awarded to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing an ag degree and are active leaders in their community and the beef industry. Applications will be open next week for graduate and undergraduate scholarships ranging from $1,000 - $7,500.
2022 Baker/Cundiff Scholarship for Graduate Students
The annual Frank Baker/Larry Cundiff Scholarship is being sponsored by the Beef Improvement Federation. Students currently enrolled in an advanced degree program at an accredited university in the United States or Canada are eligible. Students need not be U.S. citizens.
Angus Foundation Commercial Cattlemen Scholarship Available
The Angus Foundation is honored to be able to award academic scholarships for students using registered Angus bulls in their family’s commercial cattle operation.
2022 Animal Health and Handling Certificate Program
Faculty at The Ohio State University are offering a two-day (May 6th and 7th) in-person program for farm owners and employees that aims to provide marketable skills for participants while promoting the health and welfare of dairy animals.
