CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

  1.  ASGSA's annual Chili Cookoff is coming up on Tuesday, November 19th! In Columbus the chili cookoff will be located in Animal Sciences 117 and Gerlaugh 122 in Wooster. 

  2. The Office of Student Life will open the Monda Student Resource Center (MSRC) to provide support for students' essential needs in a one-stop location.

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. This summer, STgenetics is offering positions in the following areas:

  2. The Henry J. and Erna D. Leir Global Internship Program has a unique internship from January to August which includes free room and board and a small stipend located in Brewster, NY. Students graduating this December qualify.

  3. Dr. Tresoldi is looking for a pet sittert over winter break (Dec.7-Jan.4)! See attached for more info!

GRADUATE SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

  3. FEEPASS (Facilitated Early Entry Program for Animal Science Students) is a joint program between Ohio State and the University of Glasgow that allows our Animal Science students to enter veterinary school one year early.

STUDY ABROAD INFORMATION

  1. The Department has seen an uptick in requests from students that want academic credit for abroad experiences, like Loop Abroad (as advertised through PVMA), that are not programs hosted by OSU.  While these programs and experiences may provide a great experience, they will not be allowed
