Willowbank farm in Simpsonville, KY is looking for an intern for their 2025 foaling and breeding season. They specialize in the American Saddlebred horse and typically have over 40 foals a year born on the farm, as well as rebreeding mares for the year, and collecting, processing, and shipping semen nation wide from some of the top stallions in the breed.
This is a wonderful and hands on position that would allow the intern to learn many aspects of horse care and management, and how they relate back into the breeding cycle. These include feeding and feed managment, assisting with vet and farrier visits, tracking heat cycles in mares through teasing and ultrasound, embryo transfers and more!
Housing and an internship stipend would be provided to the intern.
