CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

  1. The Meat Science Club invites you to try meat judging! Join the Sixth Annual Buckeye Classic Meat Judging Contest on Thursday, November 3rd.

  3. Registration for the 2023 Spring Semester is Almost Here. We want to share with you some of the changes in the Animal Sciences curriculum and the offering of courses:

  4. Are you interested in participating on one of our judging teams?  Our October Buckeye’s In Your Corner event is going to feature an opportunity to hear more about competing on the teams from our coaches, and a chance to spend time visiting with those you’re interested in afterwards.

  5. There will be an information session on graduate school opportunities on October 20th at 6:00pm in room 212 in the Animal Sciences Building or on zoom.

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. CentralStar is accepting applications for several, paid, agricultural-related internship opportunities in Wisconsin and Michigan during summer 2023. Areas of interest include artificial insemination (A.I), milk-and-diagnostic-laboratory testing, and research and development.

  6. Columbus Humane is looking for a Behavior and Enrichment Intern! This opportunity will expose participants to the role of animal behavior in shelter operations.

  8. Just a reminder that applications for the Kentucky Equine Management Internship (KEMI) Spring 2023 session are being accepted now through Monday, October 31.

  12. Canine Academy in Lancaster, OH is looking to hire for their Care Team! They are a dog training and boarding facility and the care team members complete daily tasks such as walking and playing with dogs, cleaning kennels, and providing dogs with fresh food and water throughout the day.
