Are you passionate about animal welfare and skilled in social media? The Dairy Cattle Welfare Council (DCWC) is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join their team! This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the welfare of dairy cattle by managing their online presence and promoting their mission.
What You'll Do:
- Create & Schedule Posts: You'll be responsible for crafting engaging content and scheduling 2 posts per week across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. During the 3 months leading up to our annual Symposium, this will increase to 3 posts per week.
- Bilingual Content: All posts must be in both English and Spanish. You can utilize ChatGPT for translations to ensure our message reaches a broader audience.
- Use Canva Templates: Consistency is key! You'll maintain our brand's style by using the provided Canva template, ensuring all posts look professional and cohesive.
- Diverse Content Creation: You'll create a variety of posts, from promoting webinars and membership benefits to highlighting symposium speakers and sponsorship opportunities. Each post will be credited based on the time and effort required, with specific guidelines for each type.
Time Commitment:
- Posts will range from 25 minutes to over an hour to prepare, depending on the complexity and credit value. Posting time will generally take an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Regular reporting and monthly meetings with the DCWC Committee will keep you aligned with our goals and provide opportunities for feedback and improvement.
