  1. The November BIYC is Dodgeball in the Animal Science Arena on Wednesday, November 16th from 5:30-7:30! This is a good opportunity to relieve the stress of exams and meet new people! No teams are required and food and drinks are provided!

  2. The Meat Science Club invites you to try meat judging! Join the Sixth Annual Buckeye Classic Meat Judging Contest on Thursday, November 3rd.

  3. Kimble Group is an online job search engine that updates users daily on job and internship opportunities nearby that fit their qualifications.

  4. Registration for the 2023 Spring Semester is Almost Here. We want to share with you some of the changes in the Animal Sciences curriculum and the offering of courses:


  1. Miller Poultry is accepting interns for 2024! They will be at the career fair on the 28th of September, but applications open the 4th. See attached for more information! 

  2. Fort Christopher’s Toroughbreds, LLC is a modern, thoroughbred facility located just 15 minutes from historic Saratoga Racecourse. They are currently accepting applications for the Breeding Internship program.

  3. CentralStar is accepting applications for several, paid, agricultural-related internship opportunities in Wisconsin and Michigan during summer 2023. Areas of interest include artificial insemination (A.I), milk-and-diagnostic-laboratory testing, and research and development.

  7. The Henry J. and Erna D. Leir Global Internship Program offers a unique immersion experience for individuals interested in exploring the human-animal bond and nature-based activities to benefit children with special needs.

  8. Columbus Humane is looking for a Behavior and Enrichment Intern! This opportunity will expose participants to the role of animal behavior in shelter operations.

  10. Just a reminder that applications for the Kentucky Equine Management Internship (KEMI) Spring 2023 session are being accepted now through Monday, October 31.

    In addition they are hosting virtual Q&A sessions for interested students. Dates and times are below:
