CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

  1.  ASGSA's annual Chili Cookoff is coming up on Tuesday, November 19th! In Columbus the chili cookoff will be located in Animal Sciences 117 and Gerlaugh 122 in Wooster. 

  2. The Office of Student Life will open the Monda Student Resource Center (MSRC) to provide support for students' essential needs in a one-stop location.

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. The American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) has an opportunity for a Science Policy Internship! See attached for more details. 

  2. Riverview Dairy has an internship program in a variety of areas with opportunities available in Arizona, Minnesota, New Mexico and South Dakota. These paid internships that include housing will run from May 27 – August 1, 2025.

  3. The Vet Clinic in Worthington has a kennel technician position open!

GRADUATE SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

  1. FEEPASS (Facilitated Early Entry Program for Animal Science Students) is a joint program between Ohio State and the University of Glasgow that allows our Animal Science students to enter veterinary school one year early.

STUDY ABROAD INFORMATION

  1. There are two upcoming information sessions for the dairy study aborad trip to the Netherlands and Belgium! The first info session is Monday the 21st from 3-4 in Animal Science 202. The second is a zoom session on November 14th at 3:30.
