He holds a BS in Animal Production and Health from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (Nigeria), an MS in Animal Science from the University of Ilorin (Nigeria), and a PhD in Monogastric Nutrition from Purdue University. He joined Ohio State in Autumn 2025, following his time at Florida A&M University as an Assistant Professor of Animal Science and a previous postdoctoral fellowship at Auburn University Poultry Science. His research focuses on improving poultry health and productivity through nutritional strategies, including developing and investigating the use of novel feed additives to combat enteric diseases (e.g., coccidiosis, necrotic enteritis etc.), identification of antibiotic alternatives, optimizing mineral and amino acid nutrition to enhance bone health, egg quality, and overall performance and bird welfare. He employs omics tools and advanced imaging techniques to study physiological responses to dietary interventions, and collaborates with producers to implement sustainable, research-driven feeding programs. He also applies his expertise in monogastric nutrition to swine systems. Works - Any -Journal articleBook/book chapterReportWorking paperPolicy briefPresentationData
