Haley Linder earned her Ph.D. in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois, where her dissertation research focused on the metabolic effects of acidosis in both the rumen and hindgut of beef cattle. She also holds an M.S. from the University of Nebraska and a B.S. from the University of Missouri.
At OSU, Haley will be responsible for teaching Principles of Animal Nutrition and leading an extension and research program in beef cattle nutrition. Haley is excited for her role in the department as she gets actively contribute to all three pillars of the land-grant mission. She is looking forward to engaging in work that directly benefits both students and the livestock industry through applied research and outreach.
Outside of work, she enjoys running and spending time with her horse, Sandy.
