Previously, Kelly earned her B.S. in Animal Sciences and M.S. in Animal Biology at the University of California, Davis. Her M.S. thesis project focused on the prevention of ketosis in commercial dairy herds in Tulare, CA under Dr. Heidi Rossow. At the Ohio State University, she is a research associate and Ph.D. Candidate in The Ohio State University Ph.D. Program in Nutrition.
