President (Columbus) - Allison Sanders (sanders.856)
Allison Sanders Hi everyone! I’m Allison, a current master’s student in Columbus working in the Ruminant Nutrition Lab with Dr. Jeff Firkins. My research revolves around microbial efficiency in the rumen and how peptides play a role in dairy cow rations. As an alum of the Department of Animal Sciences, I’m excited to continue my education in a department I’ve gotten to call home for the last 4 years! If I’m not in the lab you can find me wandering Columbus in search of great food, coffee, and random festivals/events. I’m also a big sports fan, and love to cross off as many OSU sporting events as I can, but you can most certainly find me in the stands of The Shoe on Saturdays cheering loud for the football team! I’m excited to support my fellow graduate students this year, so don’t be a stranger, and Go Bucks!
