CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

  1. There is a snack bar in Plumb Hall 116 if you get hungry in between classes! Venmo or cash is accepted. See attached for more details.

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology in the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Biosecurity Research Institute (BRI) at Kansas State University are accepting applications for up to ten undergraduate or recent B.S. graduates for fellowship positions for the summer of 2024.

  2. Miller Poultry is accepting interns for 2024! They will be at the career fair on the 28th of September, but applications open the 4th. See attached for more information! 

  3. Dr. Greg Habing is seeking a part-time, undergraduate, graduate, or DVM student to work on a project focused on transmission of zoonotic and foodborne pathogens in cattle populations.

  4. The OSU Meat Lab is hiring! See attached for more details. Contact Ethan Scheffler (scheffler.15@osu.edu) if interested.

  1. Purina is hosting a Career Discovery Event for students interested in careers related to Animal Nutrition on October 12. The event is virtual and includes break-out sessions focused on Technical Services, Sales, and R&D.

  1. Transitioning to college is often both an exciting and intimidating step, especially for first generation college students.

  2. All OSU Counseling and Consultation Services (CCS) staff were sent home to tele-commute until further notice.The CCS phone line 614-292-5766 remains available for emergency assistance 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

There are resume templates that can be used to create a resume in case you don’t know where to start
