CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

  1. We are now taking orders for departmental embroidered and silkscreen clothing items (button up shirts, polos, jackets, vests, tees, sweatshirts, hats, etc.). There are several new items this year, including Carhartt coveralls, YETI and Comfort Colors products, and more.  We’ve created a great 

  2. Are you interested in pursuing our joint veterinary technology program that allows you to obtain your B.S. from OSU and your A.A.S.

  3. Help others and yourself dress for success by donating gently used professional clothing or by picking up what you need!

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Apply by October 17th! Interns work with our editors throughout the summer to cover topics relevant to the industry in print and online, research story leads, organize farm visits, and more.

  2. The Vet Clinic in Worthington is looking to hire a Kennel Technician! They are looking for a kennel tech for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

  3. Kentucky Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center (KESMARC) is taking applications for their internships.

  4. USJersey is looking for a part-time Communication Assistant in Reynoldsburg, Ohio! See attached for more information.

FULL-TIME JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. This is an exciting opportunity to join the largest milk replacer company in the world. You will be responsible for developing new business, supporting existing accounts, and delivering on sales targets.

  2. An open position for a Biological Science Technician is currently available with the United States Department of Agriculture.

  3. The University of Missouri is seeking a qualified individual to supervise and coordinate the operations of the MU Foremost Dairy Farm by directing the daily work of the animal caretakers, milkers and others in all operations of the farm!

  4. STgenetics is seeking a full-time veterinary assistant or registered veterinary technician to join their team! See attached for more information.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

  1. The National Pork Producers Council is accepting applications for the 2026 Lois Britt Memorial Pork Industry Scholarship.

  2. National Dairy Herd Information Association (DHIA) announced that it will offer scholarships to third- and fourth-year college of veterinary medicine students. Successful applicants will receive a $1,500 scholarship.

  3. The National Dairy Herd Information Association (DHIA) launched its 2026 scholarship program, which provides $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors and college undergraduate students. Applications are due Oct.

STUDY ABROAD INFORMATION

  1. Expand your understanding of the horse industry and how it is shaped by society, culture and economics within Europe. The group will visit veterinary hospitals, museums and equine facilities during the program. This program will travel for about 10 days over spring break.

  2. During spring break, you’ll explore how Darwin’s ideas shook up the 19th century and still shape how we see the world today. Think science, culture, and big ideas—all wrapped into one unforgettable experience.

There are resume templates that can be used to create a resume in case you don’t know where to start
